Appelation: 100% Napa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from two vineyard sources in the Napa Valley, Howel Mountain and the Yountville foothills. The Merlot is sourced from Oak Knoll.


Blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot


Winemakers Tasting Notes: Beautiful color with penetrating aromas that begin with a presence of black currant, graphite, hints of earth and undertones of espresso. Bright, yet plush, with black cherry, blackberry, licorice, chocolate and smoke flavors, all neatly layered for complexity. Firm, solid tannins provide good structure, weight and a great mid-palate grip. Long finish rounds out this wine.
